Science intervention specialist – Manchester

Have you recently finished your degree and looking for an opportunity to utilize the skills you’ve learnt?

Are you specialising in one of the Sciences and wanting to pass your knowledge onto to students working on developing their knowledge?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Science Intervention Specialist to join our team at a secondary school in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance in science subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Responsibilities:

- Delivering high-quality interventions to students who require additional support in Science subjects

- Developing individual learning plans for each student based on their strengths and weaknesses

- Providing regular feedback to students, parents, and teachers on progress made

- Collaborating with subject teachers to ensure interventions are aligned with classroom teaching

- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and intervention outcomes

Requirements:

- A degree in Science or related field

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Experience working with students who require additional support in Science subjects

- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum at secondary level

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
