Location: North Manchester
Age group: Ages 11-16 (KS3/4)
Payrate: £160 - £240 per day
The role:
- Inspire and educate: All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons.
- Curriculum delivery: Ensure all learning outcomes are met.
- Student development: Support academic progress of KS3 and KS4 identifying ability and adapting methods in a timely manner.
- Provide high quality of education and care.
- Classroom management: Maintain a positive learning environment with strong behavioural strategies to foster learning.
- Assessment: regularly assess progress, report feedback
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the improvement of the Science department
Key Requirements- Relevant qualifications (QTS/ relevant science degree)
- Strong communication skills
- Behavioural management skills and classroom presence
- Enthusiasm to deliver high quality education.
- Experience of leadership
- Commitment to ensuring student achieve their full potential.
