Salary: £150 - £255 Per day

Working in a Primary and Secondary PRU working as a Science Teacher.

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assess, monitor, and track the progress of SEN students in Science subjects.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for SEN students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of SEN students.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Specialist knowledge in Science education.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • A relevant degree in Science or Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises in teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience in using assistive technology to support SEN students.
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting within a PRU environment.
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
