This is an excellent opportunity to work within the school’s Science department.  This role would include teaching KS3 and KS4.

“Currently we follow the Edexcel Certificates for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We also provide the Edexcel Certificate in Double Award Science and the OCR Gateway B Core and Additional Science course, alongside running the OCR Entry Level qualification for some pupils. We select the courses that are best suited to pupils needs and will give them the best opportunity to succeed.” – Science Department.

  • You would be teaching across the key stages: KS3 and KS4.
  • Starting in September this is a permanent position.
  • You will be joining a well-established department who continually run CPD sessions.  These include both subject knowledge seminars and CPD training sessions.

The school is located in Cambridge.  This is a popular secondary school and has a dedicated team of teachers and staff who are passionate about the school and surpassing expectations.

Science is an extremely popular subject across all key stages – the appointed teacher must guarantee they are passionate about the subject.  The school values its diverse community and has over 800 pupils on roll from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
