Position: Science Teacher

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Start date: Monday 9th October 2023

A thriving and vibrant secondary school located in Leyland are seeking a Science Teacher. This role is for Key Stages 3 and 4, commencing October 2023.

You will join a fast-paced and friendly team, who commit their teaching and resources to providing the best education and opportunities for their students. You will have the skills and knowledge to support and progress different types of learners, and to work cooperatively as part of a team. You will be dedicated, inspiring and creative, influencing students to excel thoroughly and actively take part in this subject.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion and genuine enthusiasm for teaching Science
  • Make lessons engaging and enjoyable for students
  • Be confident in teaching students of all learning abilities
  • Ensure all students have the opportunity to reach their maximum potential
  • Creative a positive classroom environment

The successful candidate must have previous experience delivering General Science across KS3/4 and have excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
