A rapidly improving secondary school in Writtle, Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their permanent staff starting in September or sooner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about science education to contribute to a school committed to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. They will join a committed Science department known for its innovative teaching practices and dedication to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive Science lessons that cater to a diverse student body.
*
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their highest potential in Science.
*
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*
Use modern educational technology and resources to enhance the learning experience.
*
Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
*
Support and engage in the school’s extracurricular Science activities and initiatives.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
*A degree in a Science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a closely related field.
*Experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching methodologies.
*Ability to inspire students with a passion for Science and critical thinking.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.
