Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate and inspiring qualified Teacher of Science to join a supportive and talented team at one of their partner schools in central Bristol (BS5).  

The school is proud to be part of a dynamic community in Bristol and celebrate the richness of cultures, faiths and backgrounds of their students. They aim to deliver a curriculum that is responsive to individual pupil needs and reflects their diverse interests and backgrounds.

The school are seeking an individual who:

  • Has experience planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons
  • Has experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students.
  • Is a well-qualified specialist, holding QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree and can teach across KS3, 4 and 5.
  • Holds high expectations of work and behaviour.

Your duties will specifically include:

  • Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students whilst developing a high-quality sequenced curriculum.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional methods of feedback.
  • Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
  • Recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience & learning.
  • Empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
