Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Science Teacher to join our fantastic Partner Secondary School from September 2024. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive learning community.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school trips.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
