SCIENCE TEACHER

ARE YOU A QUALIFIED SCIENCE TEACHER WANTING A FRESH ROLE FOR SEPTEMBER?

HAVE YOU GOT EXPERIENCE TEACHING SCIENCE WITHIN A SECONDARY SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT?

 

***TEACHING PERSONNEL WILL PAY TO SCALE ON ALL FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER ROLES***

 

Job Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified teacher status) or equivalent recognised qualification
  • PGCE/Schools direct complete
  • BSc Science (Bachelors degree in a science subject)
  • Previous experience and proven track record teaching science in a secondary school
  • Subject specialism in one of the main science subjects (Physics, Biology or Chemistry)

 

Job Role:

  • Plan and deliver a range of engaging science lessons to KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to teach up to and including A-Level would be beneficial
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual needs within the class
  • Work with colleagues within the department to enhance the Science curriculum
  • Ensure students with special educational needs are catered for within the class
  • Regularly assess pupil feedback by giving timely verbal and written communication
