An exciting opportunity to work within the Science department of an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Start Date – September 2024 
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE with full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Must hold subject specific qualifications within Science.
  • Pay in line with scale point (£30,000 - £43,685).

The successful Science will be expected to:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver inclusive and differentiated Science lessons to meet the needs of learners at various levels of learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupils’ class work and report these back to senior members of staff in order to take appropriate action when needed.
  • Manage behaviour in line with the school behaviour policies.

Our client secondary school is based in Bury, a short drive from the centre and is easily accessible via the A56, M62, and M66 from surrounding areas. The school can also be accessed via several forms of public transport for candidates who do not drive from neighbouring areas such as Rochdale, Bolton and Heywood.
