Position: Full-Time Science Teacher (with English and General Cover)

Location: Alton, Hampshire

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Full-Time (First Term)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Science Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Alton. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

  • Science Teaching: You will deliver 9 lessons of Science per fortnight, inspiring students across KS3 and KS4.
  • English and General Cover: To complement your Science teaching, you will also teach English and provide general cover across the school to ensure a full timetable.
  • Engagement: Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
  • Passionate about teaching Science with a strong commitment to student achievement.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to teach English and provide general cover as required.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) qualifying this year are highly encouraged to apply.
  • A relevant teaching qualification and experience in teaching Science at secondary level.
  • Ability to teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Willingness to teach English and provide general cover.
  • A Safer in Education check will be required, as part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
