SCIENCE TEACHERS NEEDED IN COVENTRY!

Job Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
• PGCE or Schools direct completed (or close to completion)
• Science Subject specialism with a competent understanding of Biology, Chemistry & Physics
• Proven track record teaching Science within a secondary school environment
• Previous experience working with pupils with SEN

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a range of exciting Science lessons to ages across Years 7-11 and would be beneficial if you could teach AS/A Level too (Yrs 12/13)
• Regularly assess pupil progress and provide them with a mixture of written and verbal feedback that enhances their learning and development
• Ensure lessons are adapted to suit individual needs within the class and areas of pupil weakness are concentrated on
• Collaborate with colleagues across the department to ensure it is a top performing subject within the school
• Attend school meetings, parents evenings and engage with extra curricular activities
• Communicate positively with parents and show strong interpersonal skills
