Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons to students with varying abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
• Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education and science teaching.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a SEN school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and the ability to adapt it to meet the needs of SEN students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting students with SEN.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching.
