A highly regarded secondary school in West Sussex, rated GOOD by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their permanent teaching staff as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5. They will work alongside a talented team of science teachers, contributing to the development and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver inspiring science lessons to engage and motivate students.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
• Participate in department meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development activities.
• Support the school's commitment to maintaining high standards of behavior, achievement, and personal development.

Requirements for the Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in a relevant science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
• Experience teaching science at secondary school level.
• A passion for science and education, with the ability to inspire students.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and contributing to the wider school community.

Desirable:

• Experience teaching A-Level Science.
• A willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and science-related events.
