About Us: An exciting and forward-thinking secondary school located in Towcester, dedicated to fostering a love for learning and scientific inquiry among their students. The school are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
