The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-planned, engaging lessons that foster students' understanding of key scientific concepts

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to inspire and motivate students, helping them to see the relevance of Science in everyday life

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science Department to ensure that lessons are engaging and meet the school's high standards
  • Contribute to the school's positive learning environment, encouraging respect, responsibility, and a love of learning in all students
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a passion for the subject and a desire to inspire students
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Is committed to fostering the academic and personal growth of students, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to succeed
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative teaching team and contributing to the school's culture of high expectations and respect
