Teaching Personnel is excited to support an excellent school in Chelmsford in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team starting November 4th 2024 but also open to starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact in a vibrant learning environment.

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help students achieve their potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and curiosity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to maintain high standards and consistency in teaching.
  • Contribute to extracurricular Science activities, including clubs, workshops, and academic competitions.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and school leadership regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for Science and a commitment to helping students excel.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners.
