The Role
As a Science Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 & KS4 level.
  • Assessing, tracking, and monitoring student progress, ensuring that all students are reaching their full potential.
  • Encouraging a love for science, and promoting practical learning and scientific enquiry.
  • Collaborating with your department to develop innovative teaching strategies that make science accessible and enjoyable for all students.
  • Preparing students for GCSE exams and supporting them with revision strategies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
