Salary: £140 - £200 Per day

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans in line with national standards
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

A degree in a relevant science subject

Applicants must have previous experience teaching science ain Secondary schools.

  • Strong subject knowledge in science
  • Adaptable teaching approach to meet diverse student needs
  • Effective behaviour management strategies
  • Patience and empathy in working with students
  • Passionate about science education and inspiring students
  • Additional subject-specific qualifications
  • Experience with exam board requirements
  • Regular full-time hours with occasional extra-curricular activities
  • Classroom-based teaching with potential for remote learning
  • Collaborative work with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
