The Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-level for the right candidate.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, innovative, and differentiated lessons to inspire and challenge students.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive department.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has a strong academic background in Science, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Is passionate about teaching and has the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • Is an effective communicator and team player, with strong organisational skills.
  • Has experience in, or a willingness to, teach at A-level (desirable but not essential).
