A secondary school in Gosport is seeking a fully qualified and passionate Science teacher to join their team.   • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
  • Inspire students to reach their full potential through effective teaching, learning, and behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure all students are motivated and achieving.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice within the department and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching strategies.
  • Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.
  • A track record of making a positive impact on student outcomes.
  • Excellent subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
  • A strong understanding of various teaching and learning strategies and the ability to adapt them to different student needs.
  • The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • A commitment to collaboration, sharing best practices with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
