We are looking for a motivated and passionate Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Southampton. If you’re excited about inspiring the next generation of scientists, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach a specialist science at Key Stage 5.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to students of all abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide targeted support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
  • Foster a love of scientific inquiry and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Work with the Science department to develop an exciting and relevant curriculum, ensuring students are prepared for exams and further education.

Requirements

  • A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
  • A passion for science and helping students develop their understanding of the subject.
