- Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of Science in curriculum planning, development of teaching practices, and setting a high standard of excellence across the department.
- Teaching: Deliver engaging, innovative, and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for science and encouraging curiosity.
- Support and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, sharing best practices and supporting professional development within the department.
- Data-Driven Progress: Use data and assessments to monitor student progress and create targeted intervention plans to support all students in reaching their potential.
- School Initiatives: Participate in whole-school initiatives and activities, championing science and supporting the school’s vision of academic success and personal growth for every student.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a background in Science teaching.
- Proven experience with successful student outcomes in KS3 and KS4 Science.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire colleagues and students alike.
