We are currently seeking a Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to join our team in Surrey, South East England. This is a temporary position with part-time hours, focusing on providing support and guidance to students with SEN.

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with SEN
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a relevant qualification in Education or Special Education

Previous experience working as an SEN Tutor

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills

This role involves working part-time hours in an educational setting in Surrey. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to support the learning and development of students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
