We are currently seeking a Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational support to students with SEN requirements, helping them to achieve their full potential.

  • Deliver tailored lessons to students with SEN, addressing their individual needs and learning styles
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans for each student
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and goals
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Previous experience working with students with SEN

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEN support strategies
  • Ability to create and implement personalised learning plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

This role involves working with students in an educational setting, requiring flexibility and patience to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. The position is part-time and temporary, with hours to be determined based on student needs and availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
