Secondary Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join one of their pioneering partner schools in South Bristol. At the heart of this dynamic and diverse community is the school’s mission to prepare students for adulthood through high quality education and a holistic curriculum, focused on developing the whole child.   

Your role as a Cover Supervisor involves:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with their learning activities.

• Delivering engaging pre-prepared lessons to KS3&4 students.

• Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

• Implementing a range of behaviour management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

•          Has experience working with young people.

•          Enjoys leading and inspiring others.

•          Has GCSE’s in English and Maths.

•          Is adaptable, reliable and resilient.

•          Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
