  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students
  • Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEN support strategies

Bachelor's degree in English or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Good classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a secondary school setting. The tutor will need to adapt to the school's schedule and work collaboratively with other staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
