Are you looking for experience to enhance your future prospects?

Maths Teacher required on a full-time basis from September 2024. The role will be teaching KS3 - KS4 and is suitable for an ECT.

Details of the role:

-        Full time position.

-        Teaching maths to children aged 11-18.

-        Pay is from £120- £210 per day.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge, skill and qualification requirement:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher status
  • Capacity to teach Maths across KS3/4
  • Previous experience teaching Maths at GCSE level is desirable
  • Demonstrated commitment to child safety
  • Willingness to learn, be resilient and agile
  • Confidence in extending and enriching student learning
  • Has a child specific DBS on the update system

Selection criteria:

  • Proficiency in curriculum design, including unit and lesson planning
  • Critical understanding of the range of teaching methods, including evidence-based practices
  • Capacity to work in a high-performing team
  • Feedback of previous excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to abide by and enforce the school’s behavioural policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
