  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to secondary school students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum and teaching methods

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Prior experience teaching maths at the secondary level is preferred

  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to convey them to students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
