Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Skills: SEN experience

  • Deliver engaging and effective secondary math lessons to students
  • Provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create lesson plans and educational materials tailored to individual student needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Demonstrated experience teaching secondary math subjects
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education (PGCE) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting
  • Proven track record of improving student attainment and engagement
  • Strong understanding of the UK secondary math curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting within a secondary school
  • Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for parent meetings or school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
