  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to secondary school students in Maths
  • Create tailored lesson plans to address individual student needs
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
  • Utilise resources and technology to enhance learning
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students

Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary Maths

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles
  • Proficient in using educational technology
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring services to secondary school students in Maths. The tutor will need to travel to students' homes or meet them at a designated location for tutoring sessions. The work may involve evenings or weekends to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
