A school in South Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic teacher who will support the school’s mission to develop students holistically through their core principles of dreaming big, doing your best and giving back. This role is a combination of creative subjects, allowing you to showcase your creative side in the classroom! Whether you’re an experienced educator or an ECT, the school welcomes your enthusiasm and commitment.

The role:

  • Delivering engaging KS3 and 5 lessons that meet curriculum objectives
  • Managing student behaviour, ensuring the classroom environment is safe and supportive of learning as some of the children have SEN needs
  • Delivering lessons-based subjects about music, art, IT and digital media/ computer science
  • Plan, mark and assess the work of students
  • Opportunity to initially work with Teaching Personnel, with potential for a permanent school contract

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS Status
  • Has the ability to promote high quality teaching and learning
  • Can support in the elevation of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively with the school
  • Has excellent subject knowledge coupled with an ability to deliver inspirational lessons.
  • Has experience working with KS2, 3 and 4. Experience teachingFunctional skills is also welcomed.
