  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to secondary school students
  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create and implement lesson plans based on the national curriculum
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
  • Specialist knowledge in secondary science subjects
  • Experience working with students with SEN

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject

Previous experience teaching secondary science subjects

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a secondary school setting. The tutor will be required to adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding teaching and student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
