  • Deliver engaging lessons to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with varying SEN requirements
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support when necessary
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to create individual education plans for students
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises in education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching secondary students with SEN

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
  • Training in specific interventions for students with SEN
  • Work within a secondary school environment in Lambeth, Greater London
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Collaborative work with SENCOs, parents, and external agencies
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
