We are currently seeking a Secondary SEN Tutor to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting.

  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and social development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or equivalent
  • Experience working with secondary school students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor in a secondary school setting

  • Demonstrated understanding of different learning styles and SEN strategies
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
  • Additional certifications in SEN support
  • Experience with specific SEN conditions such as dyslexia, autism, or ADHD
  • Part-time hours
  • Temporary position with potential for extension
  • Work closely with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
