• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create personalised learning plans based on individual student needs
• Implement specialised teaching techniques to support students with SEN in various subjects
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistency in learning support

• Experience working with students with SEN
• Understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

• Strong understanding of SEN conditions and how they impact learning
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring support to secondary school students with SEN in Redhill, Surrey. The tutor will be required to create personalised learning plans, adapt teaching techniques, and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
