We are currently seeking a Secondary SEN Tutor to join our team in South East England, specifically in Berkshire, Wokingham. The role is temporary and requires working part-time hours in the Education and Training industry.

  • Providing support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Developing individualised education plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Delivering tailored lessons to help students achieve academic success
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress regularly
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support for students
  • Experience working with secondary school students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting

  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent organisational skills

The role of a Secondary SEN Tutor may involve working in a classroom environment within a secondary school, collaborating with teachers and other professionals. The working hours are part-time, and flexibility may be required to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
