  • Provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements and learning styles
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students

  • Understanding of SEN provisions and best practises in education
  • Ability to create effective learning materials and resources
  • Excellent organisational skills

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to secondary school students in the Berkshire area. The tutor will need to travel to different schools as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
