  • Provide one-to-one tutoring sessions for secondary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop personalised learning plans based on individual student needs
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to support students in achieving academic goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student learning

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching

  • Strong understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring sessions to secondary students with SEN. The work will predominantly be carried out in educational settings, such as schools or learning centres, in the Guildford area of Surrey. The tutor may need to travel to different locations to meet with students. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
