Position: Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Pay Rate: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Supply (flexible, part-time, and full-time positions available)

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into classrooms, maintaining continuity in students' learning, and ensuring a positive and productive environment. Whether you're covering for short-term sickness, planned absences, or long-term vacancies, you'll have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects in different school settings across Plymouth.

  • Deliver engaging lessons based on the school's curriculum and guidelines.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Support students’ educational and personal development.
  • Adapt to different school cultures and teaching styles.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure continuity in students' progress.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools (across Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a passion for education.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Competitive daily rates (£110 - £140, based on experience).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
