Teaching Personnel’s invites applications for a History Teacher position at a highly successful Crawley Secondary school, recently achieving the coveted ‘Outstanding’ status from Ofsted.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating History lessons across the curriculum, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject.
  • Contribute significantly to the History department through curriculum development and departmental planning initiatives.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential with the prospect of acquiring a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) in the future.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History (or a closely related discipline).
  • In-depth subject knowledge and a captivating approach to bringing the past to life for students.
  • A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons that promote high-quality learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving within a team-oriented working environment.

Start Date: This position offers a flexible start date, allowing you to join in September 2024
