Location:  Newport

Job type: Full time (Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm)

Start Date: Immediate start

Salary – From £83.85 daily pay

 

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as a Secondary Teaching Assistant in schools in Newport. A successful candidate will be dedicated in the position, with a passion for working with young people and a strong knowledge for the school’s curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the education sector, for those who are looking to pursue a career within schools.

 

Responsibilities include:

-          Work alongside the teacher to ensure full engagement of learning within the classroom.

-          Communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues and students.

-          Participate in classroom discussions and activities to cater to student’s needs.

-          Ensuring safeguarding is maintained throughout the day.

-          Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude during each day.

 

Requirements:

-          Genuine passion for education and learning.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Right to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

-          Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) (or willingness to apply)

-          EWC registration (or willingness to apply)

-          Experience working with children/young people is not required but is preferred.
