An excellent opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant, specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), to join a fantastic Primary School in Widnes (WA8). This is a long-term position starting in September and extending for 2 terms. The school is seeking a committed support staff member to provide individualized assistance to a reception class student who is part of the new school intake and requires both academic and social support.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with SEN students and a strong grasp of effective de-escalation techniques. The specific child in question follows a personalized education plan tailored to their SEMH needs, emphasizing the school's high regard for prior experience in delivering regular updates and progress reports.

This role operates from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM and offers the additional advantage of being part of a highly esteemed school community.
