Your Role:

  • Vocational Skills Support: Guide students through vocational learning activities, helping them build practical skills that prepare them for further education or employment.
  • Academic Engagement: Assist students with engaging in core subjects, including Maths and English, fostering a positive learning experience and helping them stay focused on their academic journey.
  • Daily Support and Supervision: Provide structured support throughout the school day, assisting with routines, activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Trauma-Informed Practices: Use a sensitive, understanding approach that respects students’ emotional needs and encourages positive social interactions.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, mental health professionals, and other staff to deliver cohesive support tailored to each student’s needs.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Previous SEMH Experience Advantageous: Experience in an SEMH setting is beneficial but not essential. We provide training and support to help you succeed in this role.

Why Join Our Team?

  • Professional Development: Gain training in trauma-informed practices, vocational support strategies, and approaches for SEMH students.
