An Ofsted rated GOOD Primary School in the heart of the community is excited to announce a rare opportunity for a dedicated and experienced SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teacher to join their vibrant team, with a start date in September or possibly sooner. Responsibilities:
*
Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
*
Collaborate with other teachers, SENCO, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.
*
Employ innovative and flexible teaching methods and interventions to engage and motivate students.
*
Regularly assess student progress, setting realistic targets and providing constructive feedback.
*
Promote positive behaviour and mental well-being through a compassionate and understanding approach.
*
Participate in CPD activities to further enhance your knowledge and skills in SEMH.

Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*
Proven experience in teaching or supporting students with SEMH needs.
*Strong understanding of the strategies required to manage challenging behaviours and support mental health in the classroom.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and external partners.
*
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of SEMH.
*
A patient, caring, and creative individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of their students.
