Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator ready to make a significant impact in the lives of young students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a primary teacher to join our team at an SEMH primary school, starting in September.

They focus on individualised support and tailored educational plans to help each student achieve their full potential.

As a primary teacher in this SEMH primary school, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of your students. Your goal will be to inspire and support all learners, fostering both their academic and personal development.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH.
  • Implement and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - open to ECT's.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of primary education and the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
