About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Vocational Secondary SEMH Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of vocational subjects, including but not limited to Hair and Beauty and Design and Technology. Your work will focus on supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons in vocational subjects to secondary students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' personal and academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to motivate and inspire students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching vocational subjects, particularly Hair and Beauty, or Design and Technology.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative teaching practices.
