Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a dedicated SEMH tutor based in the Nottinghamshire area to provide one-to-one and small group tuition to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. The successful candidate will work with students who require additional support to overcome barriers to learning, helping them achieve progress both academically and emotionally.

The role will involve delivering tailored lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, focusing not only on academic development but also on boosting self-esteem, resilience, and confidence. The successful candidate will have the freedom to create and adapt their lesson plans according to the individual needs of each student.

We are looking for:

• An experienced tutor or teacher with a proven track record of working with young people who have SEMH needs and demonstrating progress.

• Someone who is passionate about supporting students’ emotional well-being and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• A patient and empathetic individual who can engage, inspire, and motivate students, building strong, trusting relationships.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
