SEMH Teacher – Barnstaple (Permanent Role)

A highly regarded SEMH/SEN school group is seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH teacher to join their dedicated team at their Barnstaple site. This is a permanent position, starting in January 2025 or sooner for the right candidate.

The school provides exceptional support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering an inclusive environment where each child is encouraged to thrive. Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students
• Strong classroom management skills with an empathetic approach
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
