A school in the high peak area is currently searching for a full-time teaching assistant that can support students with social, emotional and mental health support needs. This would be well suited to someone looking to get into the education sector, working with young people.

The new build school has a state-of-the-art facility, with the right set of staff to follow and key training development opportunities for a new member of the team. 

The school are also adamant that the applying candidate is keen to help and monitor the progress of the students, along with showing a great deal of patience and support for the children who need it.  

The area the school is located has a range of transport available to get to and from the site with train/bus stations all in a 5 min walk away, with an on-site car park available.

Key points for the position –

  • Pay ranging up to £400-£500 per week dependant on experience.

Criteria desired for the role -  

  • Experience already working with students in similar circumcises would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Calm and reassuring nature.
  • A desire to help and aid the students through their learning.
  • Full DBS certificate with reliable reference available.
